Also as a director of soccer is my pleasure to announce the confirmation of Doveton Special Soccer School trip to play in China @2019
We are excited to announce that Doveton Special Soccer School will be traveling to China in May 2019. This is a fantastic opportunity for our players to play soccer and learn about other cultures and realise a dream to represent Australia overseas. At this stage we have 12 players, carers and family members as well as coaches, chaperones and the event organiser traveling. Around 25 people will be traveling. 3 games of soccer have been organised and lots of sightseeing in between also a night in Disneyland. See itinerary below. We are hoping to raise $30,000.00 to put towards the cost of the trip, we would love to raise enough funds to fully cover the cost of each player, so if you would like to support the club or if you know of any business that would like to contribute in any way please contact our director of soccer Juan Carlos Loyola OAM by sending a email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We are grateful for the team of people who are working hard to bring this all together, it’s a huge undertaking. We wish create a friendship with China and maybe host a sister team here in Australia in the future.
Please Share our news with your family and friends and we will keep you updated with any new developments.

A comment from a police officer :
Just wanted to touch base after another fantastic day with the Doveton Special Soccer School on the 8th of April. Firstly, I hope myself and Jacko were suitable replacements for Ron “the special one” Sinclair.
Thank you to Carlos, volunteers and the other helpers on the day. The work you guys do is amazing, and it is clear to see how beneficial it is to everyone involved in the Doveton Special Soccer School. I think I can speak for all the members attending on the day how rewarding it is to see the smiles and laughs from everyone playing soccer. The facilities at Soccer 5’s is fantastic and I look forward to many more games against the DSSS at this venue.
